![]() Hexagon and Koch have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand the use of Infor EAM and Hexagon solutions. Several Koch companies already use Infor's EAM solutions and Hexagon's industrial facility and enterprise project performance solutions.Infor and Koch Equity Development - both subsidiaries of Koch Industries - will pursue product development. Its solutions will be combined with Hexagon's sensor, autonomous and software technologies. Infor is selling its Infor EAM business to Hexagon AB, a company that provides 'digital reality solutions,' specializing in sensors and autonomous technology, for approximately 2.75 billion in cash and stock, according to the company. The EAM business and its ~500 employees will be positioned within Hexagon's Industrial Enterprise Solutions segment and serve Hexagon businesses in asset-intensive ecosystems including mines, manufacturing and farms.MSAB, the main shareholder of Hexagon, will recommend Brett Watson, president of Koch Equity Development, another subsidiary of Koch, as a nominee for the Board of Directors. Koch Industries, the parent company of Infor, will have an ownership stake in Hexagon. The transaction includes a mix of cash and stock. ![]()
